The 2015 abstract painting series creates new scenarios as it progresses through roads that intersect with each other and expose new trails. When I intervene without hiding the previous pattern, I develop a patina that creates the illusion of what is and what was, thus producing a space of ambiguity of forms. These forms become visual riddles and its spaces provide themselves to the viewer’s interpretation and questions what is hidden.
Disguise and camouflage persist in the continuous pursuit for harmonization with ones inner self. When establishing contact, one allows only so much to be viewed. So in these paintings, only so much reveals itself at a time.
